Indy Guide: Whisky & Basketball

I was so excited to be called a “key Indianapolis influencer” by Crown Royal Whisky (Apparently it’s only “whiskey” if it’s American. I just learned this!) and to get invited to try their new Regal Apple flavor…at a Pacers game! I was stoked to finally attend my first game (and apparently, they are really good this year!), so I was a bit sad that class took over and I was unable to make it. So, I sent a friend to try the drinks and watch the game for me. So happy to find someone who was up for the sacrifice (and the Pacers won!).

I’m not usually a whisky fan, but I do love fruity drinks, so I’m looking forward to trying this new flavor. And I can try it at home now, since the awesome folks at Crown Royal sent me a whole bottle.

Since I missed the game, they also sent me a couple recipes to try at home. Anyone else tried Crown Royal Royal Apple?

1.5oz Crown Royal Regal Apple
4oz Cranberry Juice
Garnish with apple wedge

Crown Royal Press
1.5 oz. Crown Royal Deluxe
3 dash (s) Bitters
Top with Lemon-Lime Soda
1 Lemon Wedge
Garnish with a lemon wedge

The Northern Buck
1.5 oz Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye
.5 oz Lime juice
Top with ginger beer
Garnish with a lemon wedge
