About

Hi! I’m Lindsay. I’m a newlywed and live in a real life bungalow in Broad Ripple, Indianapolis. I’m also a licensed mental health therapist who recently decided to go back to school for my PhD in psychology. I like it, most days. But life is bigger than homework and fills all the cracks and crevices before, after, during, in-between, and in the middle, until it creeps up all around until work and life become mostly indistinguishable and revolve around questions and thoughts and relationships and ideas and ways of life. And then we’re here. And then we’re crafting and baking and cleaning and hoping and dreaming and laughing and planning and wishing and crying and praying and celebrating and loving and exploring Indianapolis and the world. And eating really good food. And that’s the bungalow.

I started out writing about faith, marriage, and graduate school, but I somehow ended up using my blog space as a format for my restaurant and recipe reviews. Husband and I were already visiting all the new places and had become the “go to” people to ask for restaurant recommendations, so I started writing down my thoughts after each visit and my blog has turned into a wonderful celebration of all the goodness of Indianapolis.

Welcome.
