Friday Foodie: Capriotti’s

Yes, yes, I know it’s not quite Friday yet (bring on the weekend!), but I couldn’t resist spreading a little early excitement about a new restaurant opening in Indianapolis: Capriotti’s. I realize they have over 100 locations across the country, but they are brand new to my part of the world. They offer hot and cold sandwiches, subs, and cheesesteaks AND they slow-roast whole turkeys in store every day! So fun! I am especially interested in their “Bobbie” sandwich that contains fresh turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing! Apparently, it’s won some cool awards and other fun things.

But anyway, I’m sharing this early because the Indianapolis location is having a grand opening this coming Saturday, April 22 AND the first 100 people in line will win free Bobbie’s for a year! That’s a lot of free sandwiches and you know how much I love free things. I know my Indy friends will want to check it out and my far-away friends may want to make a road trip. The store is located on 5320 E 82nd Street, Suite 105, Indianapolis, Indiana and even though they open at 10am, I’m pretty sure you’ll want to get there earlier.

I’m honestly checking them out this week before the grand opening, so I’ll be sure to keep you posted on what I think of Indy’s newest sandwich shop. In the meantime, feel free to check out Capriotti’s on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.

Does anyone have a Capriotti’s in their town? Any recommendations on what I should order?
