Yes, I know it’s January 3 and yes, I realize that the rest of the country has already packed up their holiday decorations, but I checked on my tree today and it is still vibrant, strong, and green, so it’s staying up. Which reminded me of my annual tradition of ordering a delivered Christmas tree. And also made me think that I should receive a free tree for this promotion, but oh well.
Back to the story: I discovered Five Star Christmas Tree Company five years ago via Groupon and have been on their email list ever since (email promo is same price as the Groupon). Every year in November, I order my tree and every year in December, I receive a text letting me know what day it will be dropped off. The day it arrives, I receive an email with a picture of my tree waiting for me on my porch. I come home later and set up my tree and ta da! Christmas is here!

Ordering online has become the perfect solution for my love of real trees and my hectic schedule. My beautiful fresh-cut, 5′-6′ Fraser fir smells amazing and lasts all season! The company even includes a bag for easy disposal, which may be in February if my tree continues to stay fresh.
I will continue to use this company for years to come and would definitely recommend it for anyone else who doesn’t have easy access to chopping down and hauling a tree across town.
Where does everyone else get their Christmas trees?
I didn’t even know such a thing existed. Will check it out for next year. We have a fiber optic tree for inside that we like but we wanted a 10 foot live tree for our courtyard. Thanks for this post!

I don’t have a tree, but I have a friend who keeps a tree up year round (artificial). She decorates it for whatever occasion is coming up… holidays, birthdays, graduation. It’s very nice to see the different decor. I say keep it as long as you like! 🙂

I have retro looking white artificial pre-lit tree. I ordered it from Treetopia in a specific slim yet tall size to fit my living room. By all means, keep it up! 2 years ago my tree made it to St Patrick’s day;)

Wow- this sounds perfect! My family has a 15 year old artificial tree and we’ve been talking about dumping that and getting real trees for the holidays… this sounds like a nice and simple way to get one! Thanks for sharing 🙂

It’s January 9th and I’ve still got my decorations up! My plan is to leave them up until my husband complains to take them down. So far, so good. I just signed up to receive notifications for next year. This is a great idea!

I used them one year and it was a nightmare. They were days late and then the installation was shoddy so it fell down and I had to have people come out and fix it. They were late picking it up and the tree wasn’t the size I had ordered either. Good to know it works for others.
